Originally established in 1984, we are the area's premier provider of vision care services, helping clients maintain and achieve vision goals.
Dr. Emily Tuthill grew up in rural central Maine, and studied conservation biology at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and then optometry at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania.
Her optometrist training included rotations in pediatrics, low-vision rehabilitation, glaucoma services and emergency eye care, offering her an enormous amount of experience. Prior to joining Dr. Dexter's team, Dr. Tuthill worked with an ophthalmology practice outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
When not working, Dr. Tuthill likes to spend time with her husband and children at their home in Stoddard, New Hampshire, skiing, hiking, biking, and playing with their two chocolate Miniature Pinchers, Zoe and Zeus.
Dr. Tuthill and her husband are excited to be back in New England and look forward to watching their son and daughter grow up here.
A graduate of the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, in 1975, Dr. Judson Dexter has practiced optometry for more than 30 years, receiving the first of many accolades in 1976 in the form of the Optometrist Recognition Award.
Following his education, he served as a Captain, U.S. Army Director of Optometry form 1975-1977, receiving an Army Commendation Medal in 1977, and as Captain, U.S. Army Battalion Surgeon from 1977-1981.
He lives in West Swanzey, New Hampshire, maintaining a primary practice in Keene, as is the president of Dr. Dexter's Vision Center, since 1984, formerly Pearl Vision.
