She is a 2005 graduate of the New England College of Optometry. As part of her training, Dr. Gauvin practiced in such diverse settings as Fairfield, Connecticut, Boston, MA, and Bethel, Alaska. While in Alaska, she was part of Indian Health Services, requiring her to travel to patients by air and/or water, as no roads connected the isolated villages to one another.
When not in the office, Dr. Roettiger spends her time with her horses, a Quarter Horse/Morgan cross, Seth - a wonderfully athletic little guy who could jump the moon, and the newest addition, Aggie. Aggie is a young, eye catching Belgian Mare who is ridiculously large. Dr. Roettiger also enjoys photography with her husband, a professional photographer. Any other spare time is spent hiking, traveling, and managing their new 42 acre farm in Alstead, NH. She says, "at least this commute is fairly easy and manageable!" (compared to Alaska)
